The Dow in July
In my previous article I mentioned the days to watch for changes in trend of the Dow.
The support line from July 2003 of the Dow was broken, on June 20, officially announcing the end of an era; the era of the bullish period of five years. (2003-2008)
The question now is, where will be the next lows, and when.
Technically, the Dow broke the weekly Fibonacci one-third correction, and is heading to the 50%correction, which is at 10780. Should this line break, next stop, the 2/3 correction will be below 10000, at 9986.
If the downtrend will be stopped, then there is a resistance line at 11835. If the Dow will "settle" again on this line, we are back on the support line of 2003. Getting back on this major support line could bring us to 18300. but, I doubt such a rally would be seen on the screens this year.
Looking at the " money flow index " ( MFI ) we can clearly see, it made a double top, the first on Dec.1, 06- the second on July 20, 07. But the second top was lower than the first, meaning, money is flowing out of this index, therefore it is weakening from inside. It was written on the wall, already in July last year what is going to happen.
The good news are, that the MFI bottoms ( in red ) were not yet broken.
Appendix:
7/7/08 : this level too was broken, now we are heading towards 10850.
Let's see what can we learn from the planets.
In my previous article I wrote " transiting Uranus is opposing Natal Uranus"… Unfortunately I do not have a graph of the 1920's, to see what happened then.
Yesterday we had a new moon in cancer, which, to my opinion marked a momentary low, and from here the markets in general will make a small correction.
