Have we seen a top in Gold?
 
 
Since the beginning of mankind the gold was a sure alternative for investments. When one believes no more in companies' stocks, there are always the commodities to turn to. Which are the favorable commodities? Well, the grains are seasonal, but the precious metals will always shine…
 
In the last 7 years the gold rose from 250 dollars to above 1000, which is 300% !
 
The first trade date of the gold future was December 31, 1974. Chicago time +6

In this map, we can see that the Natal Sun is accompanied by Mercury and Venus, forming a "stellium". In the case of the gold, the most important planet to watch is Jupiter.
Therefore, when ever a transiting planet will angle the stellium or Jupiter, a change in trend will occur. June 2005, Jupiter squared Sun, May 2006 Jupiter sextiled Sun, June 2007 Jupiter 30 deg to Sun, and Feb 2008 Jupiter was conjunct Sun. All these dates marked a change in trend.

Here we can see, that March 17 and July 15 marked a double top. What happened in the sky that blocked the rally?

 

The conjunction between Transiting Jupiter to Natal Mercury was dissolving, and so the beneficial influence of the planet….

 

Another try to go above the top of March was, when Transiting Jupiter conjuncted Natal Mercury… well, nice try, but without the help of other planets this could not happen, on the same day, transiting MC made 150 deg. to the Natal Sun, transiting Mercury 150 deg. to natal Pluto, etc… so when we meet so many disruptive angles of 150 degrees, even Jupiter cannot help

It's interesting that the two tops were in 120 days difference, which is a fibonnacci period. Therefore we should watch a change at 150, 180 days too from March top : Aug 13, Sept 12

Target: 880, 856, 830, 792, should this support trend line be broken next stops at:  777, 759

 Days to watch: Sept 12, Oct 25, Dec 8.
 
But, we know that the planets are always moving, so the downtrend will be stopped, and then the Gold will turn and rally again to 1150. When? In my next article…
